The Iowa Community HUB was selected to take part in the Data Across Sectors for Health (DASH) Incubator, a national program funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation focused on improving health equity. Through this work, the HUB worked closely with community members to better understand real needs and experiences. Community Advisory Groups and paid opportunities allowed people with lived experience to help guide HUB decisions and programs. This work is highlighted in the DASH Incubator Community Engagement Brief as an example of community-led data and decision-making.
